The Evergreen Premier League today announces the honorees for the previous week of play with the #HometownSoccer Players of the Week awards for June 17, 2018. Bellingham United’s Georg Cholewa and Oly Town FC’s JT Meyer (offense) and Oly Town FC’s Marcos Borja (defense) were voted by league head coaches and general managers as worthy of note for their standout contributions to their sides.

Georg Cholewa and JT Meyer tied in the voting for Offensive Player of the Week. Cholewa (Western Washington) scored 2 goals as Bellingham United pulled away for a 4-2 win at Yakima. JT Meyer (Whitworth) helped Oly Town FC with a brace as they scored a 4-0 win at home over Tri-Cities Alliance.
Marco Borja (The Evergreen State College) held down the back line with multiple blocks in the 4-0 Artesians win. Marcos has started in all of the Oly Town matches this season.
