BEND, OR—Washington Premier South Sound visited the Portland Timbers U23 of the Premier Development League for a friendly on Wednesday night June 28 at Summit High School in Bend, Oregon.

WPSS played well in the match, eventually falling 2-1 to the Timbers U23’s. See a match report from the U23’s here. The Shock took Seattle Stars forward Tyler Bjork with them for the trip.
WPSS founder John Crouch says, “Every year we try to take our team out of the league element and travel together. We like layering in players from other teams when we can and we always love a challenge playing a PDL team that is very high level. Â We hope this becomes a tradition between our clubs for many years to come.”
