Vancouver Victory FC and South Sound FC were away for the start of the Evergreen Premier League season. They both brought home wins.

YAKIMA UNITED FC 1-3 VANCOUVER VICTORY FC
YAKIMA, WA—Timur Zhividze scored a brace as the Victory won their third straight match all-time over the Hoppers on Sunday April 26 at Marquette Stadium. Read the Yakima report here. View the Vancouver report here. See Yakima Herald-Republic coverage here.
A 27th minute penalty kick conversion from Zhividze put Vancouver up 1-0. Not for long, as Hector Valdovinos pounced on a loose ball to level the score at 1-1 in the 28th minute.
Vancouver took the lead for good in the 51st on a second Zhividze strike and then wrapped it up in the 81st when Zach Naylor scored.

BELLINGHAM UNITED FC 1-5 SOUTH SOUND FC
BELLINGHAM, WA—South Sound debuted with a vengance, scoring five goals in the first 37 minutes of the match at Civic Stadium in Bellingham on Sunday April 26. The outburst included braces for Danny Minniti (who also had two assists) and Tyler John. Former Hammer Kellan Brown also added to the party with his first league goal with the Shock. The Hammers could only counter with a late goal from Mo Mareneh.
The Shock have now run off three straight league wins over BUFC.
