BELLINGHAM, WA— Bellingham United FC held their annual FIFA Soccer Video tournament on Sunday March 8 at the home of their jersey sponsor, The Copper Hog.
“Congratulations to Abo-Roys for winning today’s EA SPORTS FIFA tournament,” reads a post on the BUFC Facebook page. “Thank you to the Strikers as well as the rest of the gamers for a great tournament! The crowd for the Meet and Greet was terrific, a big thank you to all who came out and showed your BUFC support!”
Bellingham United players and fans met and chatted at the same time that video matches were underway. The Hammers use the annual event to signal the start of serious preparations for their outdoor campaign.
A few weeks ago BUFC announced that 2015 season tickets are available through the club website.
Next up come the Hammers open tryouts. They are March 14 and 21 at Civic Field from 8-10 AM.
